Patient information – Short and Long Treatment Protocols

We treat all of our patients on an individual basis and you will either be put forward for a short or long protocol treatment cycle.

The decision as to which type of treatment cycle you will have  depends on a number of factors and your consultant and/ or a nurse will discuss these with you in full.

For more information regarding the short and long protocols and the time taken from the start of a treatment cycle  to the finish, please see our IVF information booklet.  This can be requested from the office or viewed online.  If you would like more information regarding the different protocols used,  please do not hesitate in contacting us at Hull & East Riding Fertility and we will be happy to go through these in more detail with you.
