Getting Started

Do you meet the criteria?

Do you meet the criteria for funded treatment?

Before you start your journey as a funded subfertility patient, you will need to know whether you meet the criteria set by your local CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group).

Did you know  – you can bring your funding to Hull & East Riding Fertility, even if you do not live in our area ?  If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate in contacting us on 01482 382648 for further details or visit

NHS funding can cover the costs of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) or intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection. The number of cycles (rounds of treatment) available varies dependant upon your CCG.  For more information see also the NHS website –

For more information regarding the current criteria, please visit your GP , or contact one of our administration team Contact Us

Your General Practitioner will need to complete the sub fertility clinic referral form including answering questions regarding your suitability in meeting the criteria for funded treatment.  He/she will also need to forward results of specific investigations carried out prior to your referral into the clinic.

For further information regarding the investigations required to be completed prior to your referral, please see Referrals

If you’re not eligible for NHS treatment, you may consider paying for private fertility treatment Self-Funded
