Sam
Embryologist
Sam began working at Hull & East Riding Fertility (formerly The Hull IVF Unit) in 2013 as a Laboratory Associate and went on to complete the Scientist Training Programme (STP) in Reproductive Science. She has been registered as a Clinical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council since 2018. After finishing her training, Sam worked elsewhere in Yorkshire, before returning to take up a Clinical Embryologist position.
Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s degree in Clinical Science (Cellular Science: Reproductive Science) which was completed as part of the STP. She is a member of the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists (ARCS) and participates in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme.
Sam is responsible for coordinating the transport of patient gametes and embryos and has a particular interest in technologies that can be used to improve efficiency and patient experience.
