Emily
Clinical Andrologist
Emily joined the team in November 2016. She is our Clinical Andrologist having undertaken STP equivalency, she also has a Masters degree with Distinction in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction Technology and a First Class degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Leeds. She is on the executive committee for the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists (ARCs), in which she has completed 2 logbooks in semen evaluation and sperm freezing and participates in the continued personal development scheme (CPD). Emily’s involved in the day to day running of the Andrology Unit; performing semen evaluations, enhancing service development and undertaking quality audits. She also provides support in the embryology laboratory with egg retrievals, processing sperm for treatment, sperm freezing and in performing testicular sperm extractions.
