Emily
Andrology Practitioner
Emily joined the team in November 2016. She has a Masters in Clinical Embryology and Assisted Reproduction Technology and a degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Leeds. She is also a member of the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists (ARCs), in which she has completed 2 logbooks in semen evaluation and sperm freezing and participates in the continued personal development scheme (CPD). Emily’s involved in the day to day running of the Andrology Unit; performing semen evaluations, equipment monitoring, enhancing service development and undertaking quality audits. She also provides support in the embryology laboratory with egg retrievals, processing sperm for treatment, sperm freezing and in performing testicular sperm extractions. Emily is currently working towards Andrology STP equivalence.
