Ellen Armstrong
HFEA Person Responsible
Ellen joined the team in April 2025 as the clinic’s HFEA Person Responsible.
As well as experience of Person Responsible duties at other clinics, Ellen has over 20 years of experience as an embryologist.
Ellen studied Biomedical Sciences at University and trained as an embryologist through the ACE certificate. She is registered as a HCPC clinical scientist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath). She is also an assessor for the Association of Clinical Scientists.
Ellen has always been committed to ensuring the quality and safety of gametes, embryos and patients through strict adherence to the Code of Practice. In her role as HFEA Person Responsible, she has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
